DAVE DICKSON
Dave has more than 28 years of business experience in the financial services and entrepreneur areas. He began his career starting an Internet marketing firm in Columbus, Ohio, in the early 1990s. Thatcompany was at the forefront of internet broadcasting by delivering The Ohio State Buckeyes Football and Basketball broadcasts live on the Internet.
Upon that company being sold, Dave began a career in the financial services sector as a Financial Advisor and Planner with Lincoln Financial Advisors® in Dallas, Texas. In his capacity with Lincoln, he obtained several financial licenses with both the Securities Exchange Commission (SEC) as well as the National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD). In 2002 Dave left Lincoln to create and manage DA Management Group, LLC.
In 2004, Dave sought to move into the Venture Capital and Investment Banking spaces, and merged DA Management Group, LLC with Greystone Capital and Fifth Street Capital in Austin. As a result of this merger, Elevation Capital Partners was born in 2005. This was co-founded along with other investment professionals with offices in Dallas, Fort Worth, Austin, Texas as well as in Columbus, Ohio. While there, he and his partners successfully operated an equities-trading platform with multiple traders working with and for the company. This company was also key party in taking Gexa Energy public with an IPO. Dave spun off on his own in 2007 to run an investment bank conducting private equity and debt raises for small companies.
In 2007 Dave also founded a firearms manufacturing company for which he served as the Chief Executive Officer. This company hand-crafted firearms for agencies such as the Federal Bureau of Investigation, FBI Hostage Rescue Team (HRT), FBI Critical Incident Response Group (CIRG), Cabela’s, Governor Rick Perry, and various other state and local law enforcement agencies. The firearm company was licensed to manufacture all types of firearms, including fully automatic weapons and suppressors. Open to the public for repair services and manufacturing, this company operated with the community until firearm market conditions made the decision to close the practical choice. The hundreds of relationships created during all those years in the industry are part of the foundation to F5 Sporting Club.
Dave received his BS/BA in Finance from the University of North Texas. He also has studied at Bowling Green State University and The Ohio State University. Dave stays active in his church as well as local charities. He has been happily married for over 24 years to his incredible wife, Holly. They have 2 sons, Andrew (21) and Aidan (18).
Blake Beavan
In 2010, Blake would have his major league call up with the Mariners in 2011 and continue his MLB career with them for the next four years. In 2015 while with the Arizona Diamondbacks Blake suffered a uncommon capsule tear injury that would cut his season short. 12 months later after rehab and strengthening he started working his way back to professional baseball through the Independent Atlantic League and the Mexican Baseball League. In may 2017 Blake was able to get signed by the New York Mets and sent to farm system.
Blake is very excited to bring the Dallas Tigers out to Fort Worth and going west through the surrounding areas. Our goal coming this direction is to be able to impact and develop the youth and community with a organization that can provide not just great coaching but all the resources these young athletes need to better there game and prepare them for the next stage at college or pro level. Blake can be seen in and out of practices, tournaments, and league. He will be running daily operations and in constant contact with coaches and staff. Blake will also be focusing his attention on giving back what he has learned and experienced through camps and pitching lessons.
